This isn’t true. The reality is that blacks are better athletes because they have an extra leg muscle. /sarc

Russians were particularly heroic and able to survive hardship because they “have one extra chromosome”.

He has a point.

He’s just described Down’s syndrome. I don’t think that he wanted to do that.

This article isn’t about extra chromosomes.

It’s about how Putin’s selection of Medinsky—a man who lacks credibility for a variety of reasons, with the chromosome remark being just a minor footnote—signals that he’s not serious about peace negotiations.

Instead, he appears to be using the appearance of diplomacy for strategic, psychological, or geopolitical purposes: to fracture support for Ukraine, distract adversaries, and control the narrative, not to end the war.

To add insult to injury, Putin's selection of Medinsky may be his way of thumbing his nose at Zelensky and the West.

It’s as if he’s saying, “You don’t even deserve our real diplomats.”

Bill Clinton moved Nato eastward and in only two after doing so, he began unilateral action in former Yugoslavia bombing Serbia. It was Bill Clinton’s NATO expansion that has brought to us both Putin (2000) and Ukraine.

NATO is at war with Russia, via proxy Ukraine. Zelinski is a paid actor. He does the bidding of the EU now, but he fully on board with Trump.

Russia reinitiated their position:

NATO out of Ukraine. Ukraine out of the four Oblasts.

Additionally, removal of the missiles in Poland, and stop construction of the Romanian Missile complex and largest base what is now considered NATO.

The very lack of respect for Russian capabalities evident here on FR, was the controlling attitude in NATO’s eastward expansion and 30-year confrontation with a “weakened” Russia.

Today, Russia has a hypersonic missile with a 120 mile range that can take down an F-35. NATO relied on a strategy where their airforce of 1,500 planes would overwhelm Russia and defeat Moscow. Today that is no longer possible with airpower.

Russia also informed the EUropeans, Trump and Zelinski that in order to begin any meaningful progress, that NATO must withdraw Ukrainian forces from the four oblasts, as well as meet the conditions of Misisle Bases in Romania, Poland, and Ukraine never to join NATO.

That extra chromosome Russia has is 640,000 combat troops now operating against Ukraine, and another 450,000 in fully operational and trained combat reserves.

We have come a long way from 2022 and Russia operating with 190,000 troops in the Special Military Operation.

Russia informed NATO that if Ukrainian troops were not immediately removed from the four oblasts, and they are permanently recognized, the next time there are negotiations Russia is taking eight oblasts and the particiation of Ukraine will be the D’niper River, all of Kiev and Odessa, into Transinita.

Trump’s hand with Iran was played at this neogtiation, and he got the only deal he is gettng from Iran.

He got the only answer he is getting form Russia.

The EU is lives in a fantasy that they are somehow relevant, important, or powerful. Their money is a petro-Euro, they are politically fragmented, and they have no combat power to fight their war with Russia.

“having an extra chromosome is associated less with genetic superiority than with conditions such as Down’s syndrome.”

Then he has a point.
