Kash Patel said the FBI is leaving the J. Edger Hoover building because it's an unsafe workplace.
You may well be right about that. Maybe that’s the best we can hope for.
I think many people are overlooking the reality that Trump’s already limited term in office could be further politically shortened by the mid-terms, and soon after focus will shift toward 2028. There’s precious little time to waste with regard to making constructive and lasting changes to the system. But it all starts with accountability IMO. Without that, there is no incentive to change.
“ Trump himself who raised our expectations about accountability. Drain the Swamp don’t you know”
Again Your timeline is what he should consider.
Thanks for your insightful thoughts.
Here are some numbers for you:
—1500 indictments for the J6ers
—the first arrest happened four days later
Our enemies acted quickly and decisively to crush us.
I expect my leaders to do the same to our enemies.
Come on you facetious ones. Patel had it right when he suggested turning the building into a museum but that ain’t gonna happen. Still it should be moved far enough away to empty Virginia enough to put a dent in the democrat party-turn it red again.
Praise God, The Saints and Mother Mary!
A good estimate for that would be - never.
Patel has almost no one in the FBI that he can trust to make the necessary investigations for indictments and prosecutions. To a lesser extent Bondi at DOJ has the same problem. No remedies will be found in courts or criminal prosecutions.
Firings and "voluntary" resignations are the best we are going to get in the time that is available. And that will be good enough.
But time is already running short to assert executive control over the agency. A substantial portion of the staff are openly hostile to the Trump administration, and this cannot be allowed to continue. We need to see over 1,000 armed agents departing from the FBI as "unreliable" plus a number of associated support staff leaving.
Perhaps moving the headquarters several times will shake loose unwanted people. It's a very classic move for a large organization and usually has some effect.
I believe Greenland is nice at this time of year.

Greenland is civilized compared to Dead Horse, AK
I had suggest rural Wyoming, but I like your suggestion of rural Alaska even better.

Dead Horse is so rural that going a few miles north will land you in the Arctic Ocean.
Downsize the FBI headquarters in DC. Relocate the employees to locations throughout the country like Alabama. Kash's new office should be in the Department of Agriculture. Plenty of space.
Kash's primary duty should be to coordinate with the President. He's not going to need many employees to do that.
The problems are tough—as you noted.
That is why they can only be dealt with by extraordinary people—once in a generation leaders with the skills, knowledge and determination—and yes fanaticism—to get it done.
Bondi and Kash are not those people.
It is time to be honest with ourselves.
Appreciate your well thought out reply. It may well be that firings and such are about all we can get given the all the deep seated problems in these agencies, and of course the courts as well. However...an indictment against just one or two key people would send a strong message to the Swampers. (It would also be a nice “trophy” for Trump.) I’d like to see someone become the poster boy illustrating a new commitment to accountability.
DC has become an accountability free zone. That has to change, or nothing will ever change.
Moving the headquarters to Alabama will do that. Many employees will refuse to leave the Swamp.
“Bondi and Kash are not those people.”
***********
They are big talkers. We need fighters.
Yup—to those who defend them my attitude is:
I don’t award participation trophies.
Bondi seems to have cut back her appearances on Fox. Prolly doesn’t want to be asked about Epstein.
It will do the agency good to have some of their staff living and working in America’s heartland. Sioux Falls SD and Des Moines, IA, for example, are nice places with nice people.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until Labor Day. If nothing, then Trump should replace them.
RFK Jr, Pete Hegseth, Rubio, etc are all on the ball.
Trump should be able to tell if they have it or not.
Labor Day is fair—but the planning for their replacement should be taking place in the WH now.
A detailed Plan B should be generated—including rapid and radical changes once they are gone and acting folks (not approved by the Senate) take their place.
That should include massive cuts in the FBI—including all 5,000 who worked on the J6 cases.
Those fired employees can put “I was just following orders” on their resumes.
My bet for unsafe is a possibility of BLACK MOLD!
