I saw “Sinners” last weekend. Great vampire flick. I kept thinking to myself “I’ve seen this plotline before.” Pretty much “From Dusk till Dawn.” I especially liked the credit cookie with Sammie Boy.

I saw this at a theater back in 1978 with a mostly black audience. During the screen where he is about to kill himself, people started yelling at the screen. One man got up and shouted this is bull$hit.
When he changed his mind and started kicking butt, the whole room exploded in cheers. It really added to the movie.
Saw it a month later with almost no crowd and it just wasn’t the same.
