I spent a lot of time in Iraq, and I don’t recall meeting too many Iraqi that I would call smart. If the Darwin awards headed over there, they would have more material than they could ever use.

These two excerpts seem to paint different pictures:
“mauling him to death and devouring him....”
“...did not survive due to the extent of his injuries.”
I find it fascinating that being eaten can be called “injuries. I know when I eat a chicken, it’s more than just “injured”.
Maybe I just chew better than a lion.
