Slav genetics all over that region have low male life expectancy, certainly compared to Asians.

A few countries:

Russia 67.9
Uzbekistan 69
Krygistan 67
Moldova 66.9

This has been intriguing for decades because the countries in question do not have high alcohol consumption compared with countries with longer LEs

Among the top causes for death among Russian males is alcohol poisoning, neurological damage from repeated alcohol poisoning , damage caused due to long term exposure to contaminants included in poorly crafted moonshine, and often suicide related to injuries like blindness due to bad bathtub liquor.

I dont know about those other countries but there might be a connection.

Despite the short life expectancies of Slavs and their brutal internecine warfare, the fraction of the European population that is Slavic has dramatically increased in just the last generation:

| Year | Slavic Population | European Population | Slavic Fraction |
| 1000 | ~7.3 million | ~40 million | ~18.3% |
| 2002 | ~260 million | ~742 million | ~35.0% |
| 2025 | ~360 million | ~751 million | ~47.9% |
