“Slavic” is such a broad term. Slavic origin is associated with ethnic groups and nations where Slavic languages and cultures predominate:
East Slavic: Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Rusyns.
West Slavic: Poles, Czechs, Slovaks, Sorbs.
South Slavic: Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, Slovenes, Bulgarians, Macedonians, Montenegrins.
Today, “Slavic” means a combination of ethnic identity (tied to a Slavic ethnic group (e.g., Polish, Russian, Serbian), Slavic language or identify, Slavic cultural traditions and heritage, and genetic ancestry.
It is so broad that it is hard to generalize the people.
Another description is “white.”
