Punishments should have some sense of proportion. 10 years in prison and permanently being labeled a sexual predator seems to me to be enough.

You'd never been sexually abused in childhood, I take it? And please don't start with the trope that it's a badge of honor for boys. Research has shown that it warps them and devastates their parents and extended family.

You’re right; the punishments should be proportional. Those who kill others with a motor vehicle while driving drunk should also receive either the death penalty or 30 years behind bars.

Not by adults.... that's all I care to say.

I'm not abdicating for pedophilia, or making excuses for the lady. It's just my opinion that the sentence is not proportional to the crime, especially when I compare it to other crimes/sentences...

I also don't like it when J6 protestors are given years in jail for non-violent misdemeanor trespassing.

I see your point. The sentences for crimes vary so much. It really is difficult to make sense of it all. It’s one of the many reasons I’m frustrated with our “justice system .”
