Thank you very much and God bless you.
Felt it in north GA.
I felt it in Charlotte, NC - about 2-3 seconds of minor rumbling. No damage.
Pretty good rattle felt here 50 miles west of Charlotte, NC.
That was Stacy Abrams falling out of bed..............
We felt an earthquake about 9:05 this morning just outside Brevard NC.
20 km SE of Greenback is in the mountains...
LOL....Stacy’s Fault.
The mighty shock absorber Mississippi River must have absorbed the tremor, because nothing in Memphis.
“”Felt it in north GA.””
WOW - so that’s what was happening...I’m in Metro Atlanta.
I’ve been at my computer and a noise interrupted me and I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from..I looked out the window and then heard it from a closet in this room with bifold doors and as soon as I opened those doors, the noise stopped - apparently they were shaking and both stopped when I opened them...the shaking and the noise! How weird! I thought for sure there had to be a critter in the closet. My heart is still pounding and I have A Fib so it’s not appreciated - LOL....
Moved here from CA and I’m used to earthquakes but not the strange rattle/noise this morning!!! Thought it was possible but discarded it....No - that can’t be it.
Turned the radio on (WSB) - haven’t covered it yet..now back to regular programming and not a word - just traffic..
Woke me up from my nap in Northeast GA. Rattled the windows. I heard noises all night. I thought it was a bear.
I felt it clearly in NE GA. My floors had an undulating feeling.
Same here....about 30 miles north of the ATL.
My sister in law who lives near us in Atlanta felt it. I guess I slept through it.
Jiggled here just west of Knoxville.
Our favorite quilt shop is in Greenville. I hope the fabric survived!!
We felt it in north Knox County at 9:04. We didn’t hear the boom where we live, but a friend in northwest Knox County did. The news people are telling us it was centered in the Greenback areas in Blount & Loudon counties at 9:10.
I felt it in Knoxville.
SE Tennessee, near Chattanooga - I didn’t feel it, but the house creaked a bit as if a high wind blew. I looked out the window and there was no wind to speak of. I stepped outside and there were 4 mourning doves on the roof. I didn’t think it was them because they don’t put any stress on the structure like that.
So I dismissed it, but it was definite. Would this have been about 09:04 EDT?
LOLOLOLOL! Good one.
