The family of the five-year-old boy who was subjected to racial slurs from a white woman during a viral altercation at a Minnesota playground are calling for her to be charged.
Video of the woman, identified as Shiloh Hendrix, was recorded at Soldiers Field Memorial Park showing the white tattooed woman holding her toddler while being confronted by a man who accuses her of calling a young black boy the 'N-word.'
When questioned, Hendrix does not deny the accusation and responds, 'If that's what he's gonna act like,' before repeating the slur toward the man filming and making an obscene gesture.
'So that gives you the right to call the child, five-years-old, a n*****, the 'N-word?' the man asks her incredulously before the two engage in a disturbing back-and-forth.
Following the incident, Hendrix initiated her own crowdfunding campaign that has garnered over $755,000 in donations.
The parents of the boy she directed the hateful slur at issued a statement that was delivered during at NAACP town hall on Wednesday, reported KIMT.
Walé Elegbede, president of the Rochester NAACP, read the statement for them, claiming they wish to remain anonymous due to safety concerns.
'We as the parents of the young boy, demand that those responsible for this tragic event, the unimaginable pain that has affected our beloved child, be held fully accountable. Our child deserves justice and we will not rest until it is served,' the parents said.

I never saw the lady calling the kid anything, she mocked the arsehole filming her and said Nigger nigger nigger. I heard that before Jr High, and it was a nothing burger. You just didn’t do it in front of a group of them or when they were bigger than you....just kidding... but not really.

I am not defending this woman’s behavior, but like it or not calling someone a name, even a child, is not a crime. It can absolutely morally reprehensible, but it’s not a crime.
The video pretty much shows her admitting so.
Now if she had confronted the mom about the kid taking a toy of her son’s bag, that would be justified. Parents should be told when their children do something wrong in public. But calling a five year old that name is not right.
How the Hell would you know what his mama calls him? The article read the child was five years of age. Even if that was incorrectly reported you do not call a child a nasty name. To do so is a form of bullying.
The greatest danger to this kid is NOT the racism of some white woman.
His greatest danger as he grows up hinges on whether he takes a bullet from a bro.
Words may hurt, but those bullets are lethal.

You watched a video, it didn’t happen in the video. The guy asked, she stuck out her tongue and said nigger nigger nigger to him. Pretty much, is not proof.
Why would he have confronted her? And why would she be sure to say it instead of just denying it?
I can’t grasp the number of people here who see nothing wrong with a grown person bullying a child by calling them names. Especially a name that is meant to be hurtful.
It sure does not rise to the level of pain and suffering demanding compensation but it was still wrong to do.
