Ned Ryun: DC Swamp Trying to Cover Up J6 Fedsurection By Denying Ed Martin
RealClear Politics ^ | 8 May, 2025 | Posted By Tim Hains

Ned Ryun on "The Jesse Kelly Show" talks about why "establishment" Republicans oppose President Trump's pick for U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, Ed Martin.

JESSE KELLY: What is it about Ed Martin and the role he's supposed to fill? What is it? It's not January 6th. None of these dorks actually care about that. It's got to be something else. Joining me now, Ned Ryan. He is the executive producer of a documentary—I hope you've already watched American Leviathan. It's free. It's freaking free. It's amazing. American Leviathan—highly recommend it.

Ned, what's Thom Tillis's problem with Ed Martin?

NED RYUN: Besides the fact he's a weak puke, this to me is one of the things—Jesse, I know you've been doing this a lot on X—I fully agree with you that it's really time for the red states to upgrade a lot of these senators in the primaries next year, whether it's Tom Tillis in North Carolina.

It's too bad that we don't have another shot at the primary until 2030 with James Lankford, but we do have a shot at Cassidy in Louisiana. We've obviously got a shot at Cornyn. Texas—I would argue Lindsey Graham in South Carolina and Joni Ernst should also be considerations for primaries in 2026.

Because this is the part that disgusts me the most: Donald Trump won in November because of Donald Trump. I truly believe this. Republicans have majorities in both the House and the Senate. Donald Trump won. He won the presidency against all the odds in what I consider one of the greatest political comebacks ever.

He won. He gets his nominees. I don't care if you dislike his nominees, hate his nominees, don't think his nominees are the best. Guess who won?

How many of Biden’s nominees were rejected? I doubt any gay or trans nominees were opposed. Why are Republicans so weak?

“Why are Republicans so weak?”

It’s not so much that they are weak, it’s that much of the GOPe are criminals first.

Simple solution, Trump can appoint Ed Martin and Matt Gaitz to be Special Prosecutors investigating J6, the 2020 election fraud, and DC corruption.

Matt Gaetz’s nomination for Attorney General was pulled due to lack of support by Republican senators.

David Weldon’s nomination for CDC Director was pulled due to lack of support by Republican senators.

Ed Martin’s nomination for U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia due to lack of support by Republican senators.

Pete Hegseth’s nomination for Secretary of Defense was confirmed but only after Vice President J.D. Vance was forced to vote in order to break a senate tie (three Republican senators voted not to confirm).

The Republican senate has been slow walking Trump’s nominees.

American Leviathan (2025) | Full Documentary

I feel as if all of my years here at FR, being a Paul Revere of sorts, have been condensed into a one hour documentary.

Woodrow Wilson, Hegel, Roosevelt, Wisconsin (Labs of Democracy), Progressives/Progressive Republicans, Constitutional Republic vs democracy...so much more.

Well worth the watch, IMO, and worthy of a ping.

...Why are Republicans so weak?...

Its a systemic issue common to all politics. I call it my #1 Undeniable truth of life: The worst of the worst want to become politicians first.

The very people who want to become politicians are the same ones you'd least want to give any power to . It is not until the people who just wanted to be left alone reach a boiling point where they can't take it anymore and run for office that anything changes. Trump is one of those.

“Why are Republicans so weak?”

I think it’s because they — most of them — don’t GAS about anything. They’re lazy f**kers, and not nearly as zealous about the future of the country as the RATs are. Sure ... the RATs want the WRONG future for America, but they’re willing and able to be brutal to succeed.

It's already been established that Tillis is a criminal.
