Pope Leo XIV also shared several articles that address Catholic JD Vance's stance on immigration. One of them is titled: 'JD Vance is wrong: Jesus doesn't ask us to rank our love for others.'

Let’s call a spade a spade — the reason liberal and progressive Catholics (and others) call for easy acceptance of illegal “migrants” is that they calculate a gain in power for their churches. This especially applies to the Roman Catholics.

The proposition they offer is that Jesus would take their side and say “welcome the migrants.” It’s an easy sell (to leftists). But what if the country was being invaded by millions of libertarian conservatives? Then they would remind us that Jesus was a law and order embodiment of a stern and remote Father, and the Trump voters should all go back home and obey the law. “Render unto Caesar ...”

I hope Trump and Vance will point out this hypocrisy and ask why things are so bad in Catholic dominated central America that they want to flee to largely protestant America. Ask this “moral leader” straight out, what about the demonic possession so rampant in their societies? Why do the demons rush in wherever they go?

Tired of the whole thing, the biggest victory of image over substance in all of history (Stalin was briefly ahead but his image is toast now).
