Well, Valero, Texas is a’waiting. If you will do the right thing, you will prosper. Come to Texas, leave your liberal employees there who voted for all of the regulations which destroyed their own jobs, and hire conservative Texans. Problem completely solved.

Why is Trump not on top of this? It is absolutely a Federal Interstate Commerce issue.

I suppose Californians could go back to the old ways of transportation. But then again, horses pollute too. Just in a different way.

Who’s going to be number three to leave?

California enviros have always been a tool of oil company major stockholders. Artificial shortages are very profitable.

The good news: Pretty soon, everyone in CA will be able (forced?) to walk to work. The bad news: There may not be any jobs left to walk to.

Who’s going to be number three to leave?

Probably Martinez or Tesoro, right across the Carquinez Strait from Benicia. They might be 3 and 4.

President Trump needs to stay out of it. Best to standby and watch the liberal/ crazy States disintegrate. Why should Trump intervene to “ save” them when all their problems are self inflicted?

“No, California, you can’t have some of our gas. Go get your own.”

If only things worked that way.

“Arizona and Nevada Depend on California for Much of Their Transportation Fuels”

https://www.instituteforenergyresearch.org/fossil-fuels/gas-and-oil/arizona-and-nevada-depend-on-california-for-much-of-their-transportation-fuels/

https://www.pinal.gov/DocumentCenter/View/1985/Arizona-Motor-Fuel-PDF

….Kinder Morgan pipeline to Arizona…” How do our motor fuels get here? Gasoline is pumped from the refineries ( California ) or tank-storage facilities into the interstate gasoline-pipeline
system. Arizona receives almost all of its gasoline through two pipelines owned and operated by Kinder
Morgan, Inc. Kinder Morgan’s “West Line” is a 20-inch diameter pipeline that originates in Watson,
California, and travels down to Yuma, Arizona, then up to Phoenix. It takes a gallon of gasoline
approximately seven days to make that journey. Kinder Morgan’s “East Line,” a smaller diameter pipeline,…..”

Looks like Arizona is also going to take a big hit in prices.

I don’t understand why the people voting there continue to elect the losers they do who continue to make California FUBAR.

Agree, for now. Refinery capacity is a national security issue, and critical to the economy. Not an issue right now, as we have plenty of capacity. We also need to re-fill the strategic petroleum reserve that Biden significantly emptied.

This...agree.
BTW, i thought they had planned to put a refinery up around Yuma at one time?

Dont tell me. I know. Somebody took offense to it and blocked it.

“Why should Trump intervene to “ save” them when all their problems are self inflicted?”

Because this does NOT affect just Ca. This creates a huge unnecessary economic hardship on both Nevada and Arizona. We get pretty much all of our fuel from these particular refineries. So Nv and Az is going to suffer also and they should not. This is a serious Interstate Commerce issue. Because it involves these other states and Military Bases it is actually a National Security issue.
