HENDERSON, Ky. (WFIE) - Henderson Police say a woman called 911 to report her neighbor was armed with a knife.
Officers say Angela Duncan called late Friday night, saying the neighbor was making threats to kill herself and her pets.
Police say they, along with paramedics, arrived at the home on Short 7th Street, and it was treated as a possible hostile environment.
Officers say it turns out, none of it was true.
While trying to speak with Duncan, they say she refused to stop screaming.
She was arrested and charged with false reporting and disorderly conduct.
“She was arrested and charged with false reporting and disorderly conduct.”
How about Attempted Murder? The objective of Swatting is to get someone killed by the police.
Under the influence of liberalism.
True. A jail sentence will protect others at least for a little while.
Yes.
Of lucifer, yes.
It is too much work to catch Swatters and it is not a priority for the police unless the victim is a high-ranking Democrat and there is a lot of heat on the case. At least, that has been the case in recent years.
If the Swatter takes basic precautions, it requires Federal assistance to track them down and the most effective techniques gather evidence which is not generally admissible in court. And the Federal government does not want to expose those techniques to the general public.
In this case, the perpetrator was an idiot who used her own phone to make the calls and boasted of her crime. An easy slam dunk for prosecution and no sketchy mass-surveillence tricks required to identify her.
What a sweet looking lady.
A place named Henderson is obviously where everyone's always feeling cooped up.
Apparently, plucky comic reliefs are in Short supply.
'Scratch and win' games can only go so far to keep the peeps entertained.
