Alan Dershowitz said Friday he’s certain that the conviction of President Donald Trump in the New York hush money case will be overturned on appeal.

Speaking on Newsmax’s The Record with Greta Van Susteren, Dershowitz said Trump’s legal team is preparing to appeal the Manhattan case, even though a formal sentence has not been issued.

“The case is going to be appealed,” Dershowitz said. “Trump has hired Sullivan and Cromwell to be his lawyers to appeal the case.”

THAT case was absolutely, utterly outrageous to the nth degree. I have never seen a case so slanted, so corrupt against a defendant in my life. Only on HER testimony alone - which was totally nuts - was he ordered to pay her $5 million with the judge Lewis Kaplamn saying her testimony “was substantially true”?? Based on WHAT?

This is a woman who calls her cats “Penis and Vagina”, who said she doesn’t call rape “rape”, that she calls it a “fight” and said to Anderson Cooper on national TV “rape is sexy”.

And when Trump calls her a liar, she has the audacity to sue HIM for defamation? And she gets awarded an additional $83 million? What kind of BS is this? I really hope Pam Bondi does something about “justice” in NYC. I grew up there and its corrupt as hell like everything else in that toilet especially elections.

The statute of limitations (one year for misdemeanors) on the original charges had run out before the cases were brought. Then the judge upped them to felonies. Too late. Looks like the defense strategy doesn’t rely on that, don’t know why.

Given the alleged abuse of government power to try to stop teflon Don47 from leading the country, are we ever going to see any deep state people go to jail for weaponizing government power against him?

18 U.S. Code § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law: "Whoever, under color of any law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom, willfully subjects any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or to different punishments, pains, or penalties, on account of such person being an alien, or by reason of his color, or race, than are prescribed for the punishment of citizens, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both; and if bodily injury results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death."

I consider the possibility that 18 U.S. Code § 242 above is a Trojan Horse law made by the deep state so that the crooks can claim that they're working to take the deep state (themselves) down.
