Recent African immigrants to the USA are highly educated, hard working, close family values and push their kids to succeed in education.
They do not want to be associated with the current “African-American” culture.
I would note that the current AA culture is something that Martin Luther king would have been disgusted with
Ilhan Omar has led large segments of recently immigrated Africans into total resentment culture and Minnesota may never recover, admittedly the substrate was there dating back to the progressives. I think plenty of second generation Africans are going to do what second generations dating back to the Pilgrims have done ( or even Israelites), abandon the faith of their fathers.
