We had a severe thunderstorm last night in NE Alabama which included a massive hailstorm that lasted at least a half hour. It was like it had snowed. The ground covered with ice. An outside cat that we care for came running onto the back porch while I was out taking in the storm and he was soaking wet, of course, had hail stuck to him and was stunned. My wife grabbed him with a towel and held him and dried him. He was freezing, shaking. Afterwards, he just lay in the floor and slept some. Took a three-hour nap and then wanted to go back outside after the storm passed. It is morning now and it has been 9 plus hours since we saw him. He is usually here every four or five hours wanting a snack. Kind of worried about the old guy. He is a 13-pound Tabby. I am about to go looking for him. And it is still raining here in NE Alabama.
Be safe.
Prayers offered for the safe return of your wandering one.

Hope you find your feline friend!
Be careful out there.
It was sunny and beautiful here in Maine
a little over an hour ago.
It it is now raining it’s guts out!
My 1/2 Maine Coon Cat is currently snoring
and sleeping upside down in his favorite chair.
Can’t let him outdoors due to Coy dogs and
bobcats etc here in the woods!
