So why hasn’t Zelinski attacked in prior years? [...]

Ukraine has launched numerous drone attacks against Moscow in the past, and will undoubtedly continue to do so in the future.

Ukraine attacking Moscow on that date invites the real possibility that War breaks out.

War has already broken out. It broke out more than three years ago. Russia has forcibly annexed vast swathes of Ukrainian territory, killed hundreds of thousands, etc.

From the point of view of the rules of war, May 9 is a day just like any other.

I would love to see Putin, himself, get hit by a drone.

Regards,

You truly are uninformed. The Special Military Operation has parametrers that prevent Russia from prsecuting war. There are limitations on the number of soldiers, the level of force, and prohibitions on killing enemy government officials.

War would allow for the targeting of the enemy government officials and employees. It would remove the political leadership’s self imposed limitations on the damage allowed by the Russian military.

Of course Ukraine would love to drag the US as their sponsor into the war.

Trump has officially ended his time period where he could be considered a departure from the Biden/US policy and Trump is now continuing Biden’s War.

Russia may well target the sponsors of the Proxy, e.g., Ukraine, if it becomes an actual war.
