The United States and Ukraine have signed an agreement over access to Ukraine’s natural resources, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday.
The deal will provide the US privileged access to new investment projects to develop Ukraine’s natural resources, including aluminum, graphite, oil and natural gas, Bloomberg reported.

Its a done deal..fantastic I honestly did NOT see this coming especially reading earlier today that Ukraine still had “issues” with the agreement so this is great news indeed and unexpected

Aha. So it’s shifted from “rare earth minerals” to include “aluminum, graphite, oil and natural gas.”
That’s a good thing, as the alleged rare earth mineral deposits are either unproven or deemed commercially unviable.
It will be interesting to see the text of this agreement.

I’m hoping this is good news, for both countries, Ukraine & the U.S. It will help to protect Ukraine if we have interests there, and help the U.S. with rare earth minerals and other resources. Hopefully a win win.
Big win for Bessent and Kellogg. They worked hard to close the deal. Especially Bessent.
So, now we have skin in the game over there and the bad Russkies are going to go home and not take the mines and such where the good stuff is?

It’s possible Trump will soon withdraw from the peace negotiations after pointing to Putin’s unwillingness to accept his full 30-day-ceasefire demand.
It could be followed by Ukraine using European funds to buy a weapons package from Trump in a record-breaking $50 billion deal.
The minerals deal is President Trump’s strategy to freeze the lines.
We have interests in every county in the world so that means little or nothing. Want to see the escape clause....
I just guess we’ll have to see. The big bad Russkies are no match for us, and they have already lost so many men, they are recruiting from other countries and buying munitions from other countries also. They can’t continue their invasion much longer.
This worries me.
I don’t want the US to send one more penny to Ukraine. I am also violently opposed to sending US troops to defend that corrupt country.
President Trump should have completely kicked Ukraine to the curb.
Let’s see the signature on the deal.

Nice, but Ukraine will not honor the deal. I tried for 2 years to get an oil & gas deal done in Ukraine. It’s impossible. They breach every deal - it’s only about the corruption in the Ukraine.
