Lieutenant General Keith Kellogg was also scathing about Russia's military record in Ukraine.
-snip-
He also issued a blunt assessment of Russia’s military record in Ukraine, arguing that Mr Putin’s forces had failed to achieve any decisive victories.
Mr Kellogg said: “Russia's not winning this war. Russia has not made any major advances in the last year and a half.
"They haven't taken the city of Kyiv, the capital, they haven't pushed to the west of the Dnipro river (which is the major river obstacle), they haven't taken Odesa.
“They've lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers and they haven't really moved anything."
“Russia moves by metres, not by miles. And the Ukrainians are fighting on their own soil, and they are fighting hard.
“So when Russia says they're winning — no, they're not. If they were winning, they would have already won this war.
"So I think they need to sit back and realise it. I think Ukraine's in a good position. The Europeans really stepped up.”

Doesn’t seem likely. With that much media around an avalanche of wounded would be seen. And then there are the gazillion youtubers making videos outside Moscow. It’s just not there.
Occam’s Razor says the avalanche of wounded do not exist. Can’t be hidden from all those cameras (which Stalin never faced).

“A newly leaked database contains details about 166,000 wounded Russian soldiers.”
GPT labels those sources partial. Meaning not impartial.
That photo does not suggest big numbers, btw. The worst are in the front row.
If the numbers are huge you should be able to get photos from Indian or Brazil journalists, who have no history declaring support for either side. Actually neither does China.
But we’ll go with India. Find me photos of 100K+ wounded from Indian sources. About as neutral as can be.
