The tourist filmed himself on the ride during his trip to Pahalgam in India’s Jammu and Kashmir province, scene of a horror attack last week, which left 26 civilians dead.
In the short video, the visitor, wearing a blue checked shirt, sunglasses, and a safety helmet, smiles at the camera as he records his ride using a selfie stick.
He seems unaware that, in the background, gunshots are clearly audible and dozens are seen desperately running away.

He should have been charged extra for the live performance.

Is he ignoring his experience and the sights, sounds, and view of his adventure to concentrate on his 6’x4” phone on a stick in front of his face?
On adventures like my first parachute jump I wanted my senses wide open to absorb as much as I could of all the new sensations and perspectives, and that is how people experienced adventures until this selfie business, which removes you from it as you concentrate on filming and your mannerisms and facial expressions while recording them.

I’ve done two tandem jumps and paid for the video package the second time.
But it probably would not have been as dangerous as being a zipline
tourist in present day Kashmir.
Weird that his focus was on his camera and not the zip line ride.
