We had two commit suicide in my building, and one had a heart attack during PT.

Prayers Up!! For every soldier, sailor, airmen and marine. And especially for the family of this soldier.
We sleep soundly in our beds, because rough men stand ready in the night to do violence on those who would harm us.

We lost one in basic on a run with packs at Ft. Polk and during that period (Vietnam) it wasn’t unheard of for a basic recruit to go off on the shooting range, range sergeants used to be jumpy and alert.
