Maybe the phenomena is called a fuse.
Interesting you say that since Al Gore has been making the rounds again lately. Maybe he’s got a new book to sell, I don’t really care
Spain has announced that Spain is the first country to go to all nonfossil sources for its electrical grid . Dis the wind stop? Did Spain have more cloudy days than expected?
“My solar inverter beeps and disconnects from the grid whenever it detects that the grid power deviates too far from 60 Hz”
Why doesn’t your inverter grid follow? Mine will adjust phase to follow all the way down to 59 hz or lower. Inverters don’t have reactive power requirements they can follow any phase angle or hertz with ease. No home has an inertial load that needs reactive power , even AC compressors the largest reactive loads in a residence are a fraction of the total load. I have two large compressors and both can be driven directly from my inverters with little loss in power factor. The only reason my inverters will trip is the grid is pulling more than they can push out and that’s gonna be a phase angle well more than 1hz which means the grid itself is down they will follow deep into 59.2 hz. I don’t habe small systems I crossed 100 kw recently on property , the windmill is up now a 50kw variable pitch on a 30 meter monopole.
I think the rain in Spain was mainly falling on the plain.
Perhaps.
Someone has a functioning EMP weapon that doesn’t need a nuclear blast.
Merda in Catalan and Portuguese. Mierda in Spanish. One traveling internationally needs to know how to communicate with the locals.
To clarify, when my inverters disconnect from the grid, the power doesn’t go out in the house. So far, the disconnects haven’t happened during the few times I need the grid. I believe the other the inverters that make the adjustments that you describe are the ones that can’t power the home without maintaining a connection to the grid.
Lo siento por los palabras en Francaise.
I should have said,
Que tipo de mierda es esto? Yo no soy marinero, soy capitán.
or
Cuando se arme la gorda, empiece a salpicar mierda.

They’ll blame it on global warming.
Spanish power generation has moved from coal and oil to
22.5% Natural Gas
22% Wind
20% Nuclear
15% Solar
Weather can highly influence Wind and Solar (36.6%).

To Summarize:
1. Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has said: “All the necessary measures will be taken to ensure that this does not happen again.”
2. Sánchez had said Monday that a problem in the wider European grid, which he called a “strong oscillation,” had been behind the outage, but that was never confirmed or expounded upon by the Spanish leader or the country’s electricity providers, and officials subsequently asked people to refrain from speculation.
3. REN, Portugal’s national electricity grid operator, said Monday there had been a rare atmospheric phenomenon in Spain, which it pinned on extreme temperature variations, but that explanation was also never confirmed, and on Tuesday, Spain’s meteorological agency said it had not detected any “unusual meteorological or atmospheric phenomena” or unexpectedly dramatic temperature fluctuations the previous day.
Thanks for the information.
