Trump and Bondi slammed for 'hiding' Epstein client list before Virginia Giuffre's death
Irish Times. Yes Irish! ^ | Kyle O'Sullivan

There have been fresh calls for President Donald Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi to fulfil their promise of releasing 'the full' Jeffrey Epstein files after the tragic death of Virginia Giuffre.

Giuffre, known for her allegations against British royal Prince Andrew and her description of herself as Jeffrey Epstein's teenage "sex slave," died by suicide at the age of 41, just weeks after narrowly surviving a horrific car accident.

Revealing the news on Friday, Giufre's family described her as a "fierce warrior" and "the light that lifted so many survivors."

Giuffre accused billionaire Epstein of trafficking her for sex when she was only 16-years-old. He died in prison in August 2019 while on trial for sex trafficking charges.

Following Giuffre's tragic passing, there has been an outpouring of anger towards Trump and Bondi over their failure to release all of the Epstein file.

The first wave of files posted on the Justice Department website have largely been circulating in the public domain for years and didn’t include any new bombshells about the sex trafficking case that has been a favorite subject of conspiracy theorists.

The small batch of documents included copies of flight logs from Epstein’s private plane, which have long been available in multiple court cases, and a heavily redacted photocopy of an address book purportedly compiled by Epstein and his longtime confidante Ghislaine Maxwell, which has been cited in media accounts for many years.

The Justice Department also released a blacked-out list of masseuses and an evidence list showing entries for more than 150 items, including nude images, massage tables, sex toys and other items.

There wasn’t any indication whether the list was from Epstein’s case, Maxwell’s case or some other investigation.

Bondi had teased the documents during a Fox News appearance, declaring: "Breaking news right now: You’re going to see some Epstein information released."

While Trump, who was in office when Epstein was arrested in 2019, campaigned on the promise that he’d seek to open up the government’s files.

But the rollout of the documents — which were first given to political commentators at the White House hours earlier in binders that read “The Epstein Files: Phase I” — showed the administration’s penchant for showmanship and preference for conservative influencers with large social media followings.

The Justice Department didn’t post them on its website until hours later, along with a note downplaying their significance. “The first phase of declassified files largely contains documents that have been previously leaked but never released in a formal capacity by the U.S. Government,” the note said.

The documents did not satisfy online sleuths eager for fresh details about Epstein’s crimes and his connections to famous people, which have long been the subject of intense media scrutiny.

Bondi suggested in a scathing letter to FBI Director Kash Patel that more records were recently discovered.

She ordered the FBI to hand over "the full and complete Epstein files to her by Friday morning", and directed Patel to “conduct an immediate investigation” into why her order to the FBI to turn over all documents was not followed.

The second wave has still yet to be released.

Giuffre also accused Prince Andrew of sexual misconduct. She said she was forced to have sex with him on three occasions when she was just 17 years old, including one incident in London. Prince Andrew has always vehemently denied these allegations. He agreed to an out-of-court settlement with Giuffre in 2022, reportedly worth $16 million, that made no admission of liability.

She died in Neergabby, Australia, where she had been living for several years.

"It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia," her family told NBC News. "She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.

"Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors.

"In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight."

‘Then they clearly found out how embarrassing the Epstein files actually are.
They are clearly deciding how much they can hide from the public.”

They have probably found out there are allies they really, really need on the list who would be replaced by people who would tip the political power away from Trump. Or there are people on the list whose votes they now own and can use to get things they would not otherwise be able to accomplish.

Queue that cartoon of the sweating superhero who has to push one of two equally horrible buttons.

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Those who have the list won’t be able to control the government for decades.

Trump ordered the list released, he cant do anything else about it..just like with JFK files, he makes the order, what they do with it is out of his hands..but I think what is going on is Bondi found out about a few BIG NAMES on that list and panicked and I can bet a lot of them are current and former members of the House/Senate..BOTH sides of the aisle

“They are clearly deciding how much they can hide from the public. It’s not a mystery.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thus... no matter if there is a Republican or Democrat administration... the hiding of the Epstein files continues??

If yes.. very sad.

Then they found out that the Epstein files don’t exist because the earlier reports of the FBI destroying them were accurate.

I think I will wait a while longer. Remember Bondi, Patel, et al are ass deep in deep state alligators. Not only do you have the deep state traitors doing everything possible to foil you, you have the Chimps and Chumps from the Uni-party doing their part to screw everything up.

If Trump really wanted the files released they would have been. Bondi is no ball of fire, but it’s beginning to look like she is stonewalling under encouragement and/or direction from above.

If and when any more are released they will be heavily sanitized. That clean up process is probably ongoing right now.

Not a good look for an administration that promised to start imposing accountability.

It’s wasteful to release the files to the public. Far better to hold them over the respective heads of those who are in them and thereby control their behavior going forward . . . it’s what J. Edgar Hoover would have done, and with great efficacy, I might add.

While I agree with you completely, I do think it was a mistake for Bondi to promise that the files were on her desk and would be released right away. A lot of folks voted for Trump because he's generally known as someone who keeps his word, and (to the best of my knowledge) they expected the same from Bondi.

Far better to not make promises at all, than to make them and not carry through.

Conservatives, please do not dive into the Pool of Stupidity.

There is no client list.

This case has been actively investigated for more than twenty years by criminal and civil lawyers.

More than forty women have sued Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell for under age sex or trafficking.

Only one woman - Virginia Giuffre - claims to have been trafficked to someone besides Epstein.

Giuffre claims she had sex with Prince Andrew twice. The Prince denies that ever happened.

Giuffre did not get paid $15 million.

Andrew and the Royal Family never admitted guilt.

The $15 million was paid to an organization that helps women who have been trafficked.

Giuffre was a paid employee of that organization.

EXACTLY!

And the photo with Prince Andrew was ABSOLUTELY photoshopped! Virginia is wearing the SAME clothes and is in the SAME pose, a photo of her taken many months before, ON A YACHT ( where Prince Andrew was NOT !), that was going to the South of France!

The photo with Prince Andrew was supposedly from THE DEAD OF WINTER, IN LONDON, so WHY is Virginia wearing an outfit that she would NEVER wear in cold weather? SHE WOULD NOT HAVE DONE SO! And yes, it really IS as simple as that! But sadly, most people don't know this, nor IF they do, do NOT care...they just pruriently enjoy trashing Andrew.

This whole thread is speculation and everyone is doing nothing but accusing people in this administration of things they have no proof at all of.

We have plenty to worry about at this time. This isn’t all there is.

I don’t trust the veracity of anything that we’ve seen-heard regarding the Epstein files and controversy.

My speculation on the issue is that Trump is withholding this information. Waiting for a more politically opportune time to release it.
