The Brief
-State Senator Bill Ramos has died suddenly. -His wife, Councilmember Sarah Perry, announced his passing on Sunday. -Tributes continue to pour in from local leaders.
His wife, King County Councilmember Sarah Perry, issued a statement on the state senator's passing, reading, in part:
"I am devastated to share that Bill passed away suddenly on the evening of April 19. He was doing what he loved – running on one of the many trails near our Issaquah home. For Bill, these runs were a way to relieve stress during a busy legislative session, a way to stay active – and exercise our dog Sadie – and a way to reconnect to the forests and hills he loved that shaped his career."
She continued, saying accomplishments from Sen. Ramos, such as joining the legislative Latino Caucus, his time served in the House, and work with the Forest Service and Department of Transportation shaped his passion for continued public service in Olympia.

I’m guessing he’s a DEMOCRAT since they have DIFFERENT last names.
Democrat.
Doctors are baffled...
Interesting.
This makes what? the fourth democrat state senator to kick off recently?
One less Dem.
Bill George Ramos was an American politician who served as a Democratic member of the Washington State Senate representing the state’s 5th district from January 2025 until his death in April 2025.
Hope he got his booster shots. Hope all Dems are vaxxed to the maxx.

Rep. Ramos’ Newsletter: Fighting hate, vaccines update, transportation op-ed, and more!
New guidance and vaccine access
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new guidance for people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or two weeks after their single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Whether you are vaccinated or not, the CDC is still urging people to keep taking precautions in public, like wearing a mask, staying 6 feet apart from others and avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated spaces.
But he’ll still be voting til the end of the term.
He identified as “woke”/”alive”, so there’s that.
(Fighting hate)
Lemme guess.....
True. Let’s put bubble wrap around the republicans….at least most of them.
...part of the Latino caucus ...let a white person be a member of the white boy caucus ..see what happens ...
Running alone at age 69...unless perfectly fit,
is problematic...
Wife’s statement, oddly “clinical”...it seems as if he will be connecting to the hills and forests soon...referenced husband as “partner”...how human can one get?
Actually sad, but not unexpected.
My dad lived in Issaquah from 1975 until I think about 12 years ago in Mirramont (sp) Estates. My stepmom, Susie, worked at the IHOP for many years. I lived there in the late 70’s. Worked at the went to Issaquah High, worked at the glider field after school, and then on to Pick’s restaurant for the night shift. I miss that place. Although when I was there about 13 years ago, it had grown up from the days I lived there with one flashing light in the middle of town.
And he’ll be replaced by a Rat who is even further to the left.
I lived in North Bend just a few miles east of Issaquah, for almost 21 years and watched as Issaquah degraded into a bedroom extension of several adjoining Democrat cities. It was ruined, It went from a fairly idyllic small town, to a bumper to bumper nightmare.
I drove through daily(1979 to 2000), as I worked at Boeing Seattle’s Boeing field.
If there was an elected Republican in the entirety of King county I don’t remember them.
