I’m thinking a 12 gauge with a shot packed with a mini equivalent of the old chain shot for anti-drone work.
This post will serve as “prior art” if someone tries to take this idea and patent it.
here’s the thing, though, it says that the rifle disrupts the signal between the operator and the drone. But what if you just know the GPS coordinates of the target and you just program that into the machine and the drone just goes about its business autonomously. Then the rifle would do nothing?
or you could just program the device with a 3-D model of the target and they could just go by site without having to deal with any signals whatsoever? And then boom.
Prior art doesn’t prevent a patent.
I cited a 1905 patent on my most recent patent application.
No problems, the examiner asked for prioritizing which claims to review first, and for a few clarifications, but it was granted the first time through.
