AOC might be the only potential Democrat candidate for 2028 who can sell out a decent-sized arena. Gavin Newsom can’t do that, Chris Van Hollen can’t, Kamala Harris can’t, and Pete Buttigieg can’t. To be fair, none of the candidates other than Sanders could in 2020, so this isn’t new, and it’s also not dispositive.

As for the switcheroo factor it didn't work for Hillary in '16 or Kamala in '24.
My concern is the 48% Kamala got.

I don’t think we can count on these cannibals eating each other up for 4 years, not even two.
It wasnt a real 48%, first. But since we do electoral college to allow all states that are not massive population centers to also have some relevance to the nationwide election, the 48% doesnt have the same impact.
