Fetterman says he 'can't understand why Trump would negotiate with this diseased regime' in Iran.
"Waste that s---," the lawmaker declared to the Washington Free Beacon. "You're never going to be able to negotiate with that kind of regime that has been destabilizing the region for decades already, and now we have an incredible window, I believe, to do that, to strike and destroy Iran's nuclear facilities."

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Fetterman declared last week in a post on X, "The only purpose of Iran's nuclear program is to create weapons. We can't allow that or negotiate with this regime. Provide our comprehensive military support and whatever else Israel requires to destroy Iran's capabilities."
(I'm sorta liking this guy}
He’s remembering his Ming the Merciless persona.
While we can certainly bomb Iran, by my calculations we’re approximately 10 Carriers short of what’s needed to serious affect their nuclear program.
Almost every Democrat is focused on Israel’s operation in Gaza.
Not Fetterman. He remains focused on the horrible Oct 7, 2023 Hamas massacre of Israeli civilians, including many children. Fetterman understands. He gets it.
However, Fetterman (and Trump) need to keep in mind that wars are easy to start, but not always easy to finish. So a steady hand is needed. Fortunately, we have that in Trump.
Fetterman continues to surprise me. I didn’t like this guy, and I still don’t like him very much, but recently he’s been making some sense unlike the rest of the dems. Maybe he’ll continue on this road and be reformed. He won’t be the first.
Because we aren’t paying enough for Ukraine. We need to pay for another war.
I don’t think he’s talking about an all out war, just taking out Iran’s military and nuclear facilities. What kind of retaliation could they take they have not already tried? Take out their capabilities and they are no longer a threat.
We haven’t blown up a Middle East country in a while guess fetterman is getting an itchy finger
“Fetterman continues to surprise me.”
Keep in mind that he voted AGAINST every contested Trump nominee. He met with them, said good things about them, and then voted with the Leftists, EVERY TIME (I think).
I love to comment on people who ain’t got a clue...
Back in the late ‘70’s, I was abord the JFK. For some reason we were floating around cuba. We had went to battle stations the night before. I was walking through the hangar bay and noticed hardy any aircraft there.
I made my way to the flight deck.
Every friggin aircraft that was capable of flying was fully loaded and ready to go!
My thought was, “My God, we don’t need a nuke to sink cuba”...
Same thing applies with iran...
We don’t need 10, we only need 1....
Fetterman gets a silver plated beeper from Netantahu....with a message......
"You're never going to be able to negotiate with that kind of regime that has been destabilizing the region for decades already, and now we have an incredible window, I believe, to do that, to strike and destroy Iran's nuclear facilities."
It is a frightening thing, when John Fetterman is considered the “voice of reason” within the Democrat party. Then he comes up with this invective against Iran.
Never took him for a neocon. But, people sometimes “evolve”.
The Iranian ayatollahs DO understand the threat to their continued power in Iran. Our greatest allies in that conflict are the Iranian people themselves. Just push the ayatollahs until an internal revolution comes, and jump into that revolution.
“ What kind of retaliation could they take”
Drop the bombs between the minarets, down the casbah way…..
Time to wipe out the iatollas!! sp?
NY Times-—Israeli officials had their own plans to attack Iranian nuclear sites, back in May.
They were all prepared to carry them out, and were sure the United States would sign off.
Israeli plans would have required US help not just to defend Israel from Iranian retaliation, but also ......to finance, and ensure that an Israeli attack was successful....... making the United States a central part of the attack itself.
Fetterman visited Israel to show his support.
Memo to Fetterman: Netanyahu was not in DC asking Trump’s
permission to bomb Iran. He was asking Trump to do it for them.
Israel gonna attack Iran?
Mmmmmm, yummy..... an-oth-er extremely astute, well-thought out, political strategy:
<><>US taxpayers supply all of Israel’s economic financing and acres of armaments;
<><>lucky us, we get to be involved in all their wars
<><>in return we get all their enemies and assorted problems,
<><>future American generations get to inherit Israel’s enemies and their debts as well,
<><>while Israel gets to be a world leader.....unencumbered.
So brilliant.....could even catch on worldwide.
“Peace” in the Middle East has been a pipe dream for about a thousand years........there’s a
huge price tag on “peace,” with the US taxpayer gamely trying to meet the latest “peace price.”
Netanyahu to Trump: “Can you top this?”
<><>Biden blanketed Israel w/ $17.9 billion peace-keeping tax dollars in the 2024 election year alone, bragging, “Nobody has done more for Israeli peace than I have.”
<><>Rubio just gave Israel $4 billion tax dollars, over and above Israel’s annual US billions.
Besides peace-making weaponry, Israel also receives peace-keeping economic and humanitarian US tax dollars in USAID, which supports broad peaceful economic development and socio-political stability and can include peaceable non-military US support related to the country’s pressing peace needs.
Nice.
Not anymore—USAID is gone.
Are you retarded? The U.S. supplies Israel with approx. $3.8 billion (96% of which which they use to buy in weapons from U.S. defense contractors) per year, as part of the Camp David Accords (1978). Egypt gets the same, and always has.
In addition, Israel spends roughly $32 billion on armaments every year, and about double that in 2024.
