She lived a full, and sometimes tragic but in the end an inspiring life.

I think of all the cast of Hee Haw the only surviving cast are Gaylord Sartain and Kathy Baker. Maybe some of “the honeys” but that’s it.

I am impressed she was still with us.
I hope her soul is with God.

She had been a junkie before she turned her life over to Christ. After that she became a gospel singer.
I harbor no doubt that she's gone to that better place.

RIP. Hee Haw was peak nuclear family. I’ll always remember the Saturday nights I watched that show with my mom and dad and siblings.

To this day 7 pm on Saturday nights makes me think that it’s time for Hee Haw. Not kidding.

I had a trio that backed the Hagar Twins at rodeo halftime performances. They were nice guys with interesting stories about shooting the show, and mightily impressed with the talent of the other cast members.

I saw a recent picture of her awhile back and she had lost so much weight that she was less than 1/2 the woman she used to be.
She did good.

Saturday nights at our house were filled with Hee Haw and the Lawrence Welk Show, it doesn’t get anymore nuclear family than that

We did too!! And Lawrence Welk! On Thursdays, it was The Waltons and on Sunday, it was Wild Kingdom and then Disney, then bedtime afterwards.
Love Boat, Fantasy Island and the ABC Movie of the Week on Saturday nights. If I could stay awake long enough, my sister and I would watch Kolchak, Night Stalker and scream in terror, waking our parents up.
My mom would get us a frozen pizza, Jiffy Pop, a box of brownie mix and a 2 liter soda of our choice and let us have at it.
We thought we were rich although we were really poor. Looking back, I see that we had all the riches in the world.
