Carlos Santana was taken to the hospital ahead of his San Antonio show.

In a statement obtained by PEOPLE, a representative for Santana, 77, confirmed that the guitarist will postpone his shows scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 and Wednesday, April 23 after being treated for dehydration and testing positive for COVID.

Michael Vrionis, president of Universal Tone Management and a representative for Santana, said, "It is with profound disappointment that I have to inform you all that tonight's show in San Antonio has been postponed. Mr. Santana was at the venue preparing for tonight's show when he experienced an event that was determined to be dehydration. Out of an abundance of caution and the health of Mr. Santana, the decision to postpone the show was the most prudent course of action."

I caught Chicago in 2018 in Phoenix. They were flawless.

Santana is one of the greatest music sensations ever. I never get tired of his music. Like the Stones and Tom Petty.

Well Paul needs to hang it up now. Saw a recent video and he can barely sing.

Yeah, but Mick has pretty much cleaned up his act since the 70s, I think he still jogs 5 miles a day, every day.

I don’t think anyone cares, because everybody is singing along with him, so they can’t hear him anyway.

Imagine how Neal Schon must have felt being 16 years old and knowing Carlos Santana wanted him in his band.

...compared to the 40 minute show he did with The Beatles.

Well, their songs were, like what, 45 seconds long back then.

Saw Segar in 87 at Réunion Arena. 10th row?
Full house, SRO.

Anyways Bob worked hard for his money and us in the audience that night and The SBB did too.

I wasn’t the only kid in school the next day with a t-shirt. Biology teacher was there too. Probably some others.

The WHO denounced the PCR test January 20, 2021 (Something happened that day).

The CDC denounced the PCR test sometime between Christmas and New Years in 2021.

If the CDC changed up sometime after that, that is on them.

I saw Justin Hayward (lead singer of the Moody Blues) last night. He’s 78. Playing small halls, with 3-4 band members, mostly acoustic set. Worth the trip to town.

A truly underrated guitar player.

Wife and I rarely go anywhere without a full 20 oz Yeti with ice and Diet Coke, Arnold Palmer, tea, water, something.

Yeah Mick takes really good care of himself. Of course this is a bit feedback loop thing. Because Mick has always worked the whole stage, that’s a thing he’s proud of. And of course they’re the Rolling Stones, they don’t play on small stages, they love those big wings and stuff. And if Mick is going to be all the way out on one wing for the 2nd verse and then get all the way to the same spot on the other wing during the guitar solo and still be able to sing the 3rd verse, Mick needs to be in shape. So one habit feeds the other.

Even Keith looks younger now than he did 5-10 years ago. He’s pretty much cleaned up his act since then.

Hope he is ok, that said still don’t get why artists in their 70’s and 80’s(Mick Jagger and Paul McCartney) still tour.

Because people are still willing to pay to see them. Besides, what else are they going to do, waste away their final years in some nursing home? Screw that!

Having that addictive personality trait can be really good when you start doing good stuff. Keith exercises now with the same fervent dedication he used to use for heroin.

“Wife and I rarely go anywhere without a full 20 oz Yeti with ice and Diet Coke,”

Same here.

The Ford deal I bought my car from sends out flyers to come in for a free Yeti 20 oz.

First, they asked me to sit for a session and get my car appraised for a trade in. Now they just take my name and give me the tumbler.

I have six, all different colors and have given away a like number.
