A lot of punk rockers have gravitated toward conservatism, and it actually makes a lot of sense. In the 70’s punk was a reaction to, and against, both the latent hippy movement and the contemporary disco/yacht rock trends. While initially punks were all about “Anarchy,” I suspect maturity and wisdom have led them to move a little away from that, being happy with, “small government.”

Good for her. Cherie was married to Robert Hays of Airplane! fame, but she’s basically bi-sexual. Lita Ford was also in the Runaways and left because she was the only straight one in the group. Joan Jett, another member, is a lefty loon and has had a long running feud with Ted Nugent.
