“Russia relies mostly on people signing contracts, and they do not force conscripts into the war”

Wiki:

Although President Putin repeatedly promised that young conscripts would not be deployed in the war with Ukraine, conscripts from the FSB Border Service from several Russian regions were sent to fight with Ukrainian troops in Kursk Oblast.[23] An online petition launched by the mothers of the conscripts requesting for Putin to withdraw the conscripts from Kursk received more than 10,000 signatures.[25] On 29 August the Institute for the Study of War reported that most of the Russian prisoners of war taken in Kursk by the Ukrainians were young conscripts.[26] There is an NGO called Get Lost for Russians seeking to avoid conscription.[26]

In spring 2025 160,000 18-30 year old men are planned to be issued with call-up notices for conscription, 10,000 higher than in spring 2024 and 25,500 higher than in spring 2022. In 2024, Russia announced plans to increase the number of active servicemen to 1.5 million by 2026, an increase of about 180,000 over three years.[27][28]

Talking with Biden Fire Bubble Americans with no intellectual curiosity about other countries is an exercise in futility. Goint to Wiki for anything is as bad a snoops. I could probably jump into Wiki and edit the page if I wanted.

If you had any current information on Russia, which I have pointed out several times, you would know different.

Russia drafts 30K per month; however, they do not send these young mandatory service kids to the front. Instead they rely on those people signing 1-5 year contracts.

Do yourself a favor and actually read some actual Russian newspapers and the Russian Government website itself.
