Thank you very much and God bless you.
I guess ABC had this special in the "can" for a while now, to broadcast tonight.
John Paul II, died some 20 years, I don't remember a prime time special on his death.
“See, on this particular Tuesday you could’ve watched six hours of Lucy. There’s I Love Lucy, The Lucy Show, Here’s Lucy!”
What ‘people’?....................
> Francis: The People’s Pope <
Leftists sure do like to use the word “people” to hide reality.
North Korea: “The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea”.
ChiCom army: “The People’s Liberation Army”.
Etc.
I have had zero idea what is on the network tv nightly schedule for over 25 years now.
i could not name a single current show..
I remember Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Three’s Company was Tuesday night.
Love Boat was Saturday, Dukes of Hazzard was Friday...
:)
I’m not Catholic and I miss John Paul II.
The People’s Pope.
Those who remember Communist governments know how perfect this epithet is.
if only....
> I could not name a single current show.. <
Me too. I cut cable many years ago, and replaced it with an over-the-air antenna. Then I built my own DVD library of classic shows. Andy Griffith, NYPD Blue, etc.
I now use my over-the-air antenna to watch only one show, Hardcore Pawn. And yes, I’m a little embarrassed to admit that.
“”Primetime Live,” “Pope John Paul II Special,” ABC News, following the death of John Paul II (April 2, 2005)., 2005”

I have not watched any network TV, except for the Olympics or the World Series, since I left for collage in 1968.
“I am not going to speak ill of the dead, let me say growing up Catholic, Francis is no John Paul II.”
I feel the same way.
“I have not watched any network TV, except for the Olympics or the World Series, since I left for collage in 1968.”
Just a bit of irony there.
LOL. I was taught sight reading by the nuns in the’50s and never learned to spell.
since I left for collage
You should make a collage of your collage days. :-)
AND “The Lucy and Desi Comedy Hour”!! (it was pretty bad)
The Pope that bowed to China.
The Pope that surrendered the control of the Catholic Church in China to the Communist Chinese.
Popes as far back as Pope Blessed Pius IX condemned communism.
This pope decided that Communism is just misunderstood.
X Files on Comet TV.
Ironside on Roku.
Barnaby Jones on Pluto.
