This is definitely NOT a case of self defense if someone touches or grabs you. You cannot resort to deadly violence when someone touches or pushes you.

The video must be damming otherwise it would have been released to clearly show it’s a case of self defense.

Karmelo Anthony willingly brought the knife into a school, a well known weapons-free area, willingly reached into his backpack to grab the knife and willfully stabbed Austin Mecalf to death.

I see no argument for self defense.

This trial needs to be moved out of Collin County and the DFW area and held in a county in the Panhandle, far South Texas, or El Paso County. It needs to be held in January or February 2026. The antics of Anthony's parents and the bizarre behavior of the father of the victim are food for an O.J. Simpson type circus. A continual drumbeat of coverage from the legacy media and the black media will only feed racial tension.

I carried a pocket folder daily from 2nd grade until May 1984 when I almost lost my nice Gerber service anniversary folder because it had a locking mechanism. I was returning home via the airport at Oakland. TSA let me take it home and it went into my dresser drawer. I had a gold Pacific Telesis emblem with 3 rubies. Clearly not something you select with ill intent.

I haven't flown since Sept 2017. My EDC is a CRTK Obake in a kydex sheath on my belt. I use it to open the mail and boxes shipped from Amazon. Technically it could serve as a means of self defense. I leave it in the car when visiting the local hospital and courthouse.

Not likely. I bet the videos show a scenario much different than the grifters are describing. And there will be riots if found guilty and the media will move on ignoring the case ever happened.

I once went to the courthouse and had to go back to my car to put away the pocketknife. The metal detector then found another one. Back to the car.

I forgot about the itty bitty one on my keyring. Yep. Back to the car.

Funny thing was I was going there to pick up my concealed weapons permit.

TSA used the "wand" on me. My change pocket set off the metal detector. It was a very tiny allen wrench that was packaged with my new peep sights. I did the adjustment on the range, dropped it into my change pocket and it neatly conformed to the bottom seam. It had been there for weeks. The TSA guy says, "You can't have that. It's a tool". I looked him square in the eye and say, "You're a tool". The rent-a-cop took it. I had to spend $8 to get a new set with that size.

The CWP permits in the Pocatello area are processed at the jail. It's right next to the driver's license office. You enter the jail office to get the signed off permit paper, then take it next door for a photo. The CWP is printed on the spot.
