Why has Silver not shot to the Moon ?

we already know that we need rare earths that we never stockpiled and mostly China produces.

No one knows if we have a huge stockpile of gold or silver

but I am guessing we do not.

we had a huge stockpile of silver in our currency, but mostly that is all gone and since it was not taken out of circulation by the govt it was by the people.

so probably they could get all they wanted for $75 oz

Why has Silver not shot to the Moon ?

Silver's function has changed over the past 100 years. In the past, silver was used as a store of value, but now its primary purpose is the best conductor of electricity in the universe.

Gold's role has not changed. It is still used first and foremost as a store of value (which humans desire and demand).
