The Maryland senator put a wedge between Trump and Salvadoran dictator Bukele and showed Democrats how to find their spines.

On Sunday, Senator Chris Van Hollen conquered all five morning talk shows. He was by far the most coveted guest after his return from El Salvador, where he stood down the country’s despot and secured a meeting with the illegally deported Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Van Hollen delivered love from Abrego Garcia’s family and his growing legion of advocates and proved that the 29-year-old father is alive and safe—at least for now.

The Dem's "darling" previously has an immigration hearing and not being satisfied with the results, appealed. His appeal was heard and the immigration court specified that, though eligible for deportation, it was agreed that he not be deported to El Salvador due to rival gang threats to his life. Deportation order was signed in 2019 AND was NEVER withdrawn. BUt the rival gang was dismantled in meantime, so no more threat. This MS 13 scumbag received all the due process that was due him.

So what difference did he make? I imagine people feel less sympathy for the Maryland Man now than before this stunt. Van Hollen seems to be walking back his poor innocent victim dad routine. And the guy is never coming back to the US.
