You’ve done it now, Liz. Bringing facts, logic and first hand knowledge into the discussion is frowned upon the emotional mob. I, myself, am not vegan but I have a family member that is. I say let every person judge for themself their lifestyle as long as it does not infringe on others.
I did veganism for a while but realized it was more effort than I was willing to do i.e. vegan cheese (made from cashews and it was very good) or buy expensive vegan products. Throwing a burger on the grill became making bean patties with the right proportions and spices and that don't fall apart. Maybe if I had the time to perfect vegan cooking I would have stuck with it.
I'll tell you one thing. When I was involved in it all cravings went away.
