There is a reason for keeping good personal hygiene.
Apparently, some cultures think this is BS and don’t bother. Further, some perverted behaviors likely contribute to some experiencing this bacterial infection.
Good personal hygiene and not being perverted would help avoid becoming necrotized.

A Marine was on one of the many Pacific islands that had been recently captured from the Japanese Imperial Army.
The grateful native girls were more than eager to show their appreciation to these tall American liberators.
This Marine was suddenly in need of medical attention and went to sick-call.
He showed the Navy doctor his ‘problem’ and the doc was stupefied, he’d never seen anything like it.
He said, “If it doesn’t get better we may have to amputate!”
So he sent the horrified young Marine to go see the Army doctors on the other side of the island to see if they could help.
He went and showed the Army doctors and they were just as puzzled as the Navy doctor. They also said that amputation was the only possible solution.
So they conferenced and decided to send him to the island’s Witch Doctor who lived in a mountain cave. Since he was a native he should know about this disease and how to cure it.
So the young Marine climbed up to the cave and went in and found the Witch Doctor.
“Please help me!” he begged the old native, “The military doctors say they will have to amputate if you can’t help!”
The old native looked at the Marine’s ‘problem’ and started to laugh!
“Amputate???...Why that’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard!” replied the Witch Doctor.
The young Marine was feeling relieved at this pronouncement.
“You mean they won’t have to amputate?” the Marines asked.
“Why hell no!” said the Witch Doctor, “In three days it’s gonna fall off!”................
You have not read the article as is traditional on this site. The bacteria enter the body through minor cuts and scrapes.
The genital region of The UK is well known for its verdant green landscape and engaging locals who often greet strangers with a friendly “Put it there!” And hardy handshake.
I forgot my sarc tag on that prior comment, but you get the gist.
I’m not holding back on the ‘new mooslim isles’ and will be brutally commenting in similar tone moving forward.
I simply can’t swallow that part of my heritage - about 20% Scottish - originates from such losers. Is what it is, and regardless their SC moment of sanity on trans.

Personal hygiene true however this is not an STD which was the point of my post and a few other physicians ln this thread
