Millions of kids are the victims of these extremely bitter custody proceedings. The parents duke it out for years, oblivious to the destruction of their children’s souls that it causes. In this case, who knows? She certainly should not have absconded to Europe with the kid, and sometimes courts bring down the hammer when a parent does that; that appears to be what happened here. Since this happened, the maternal grandmother has also gone off online. For all we know, they’re all nuts. Doesn’t absolve the kid from what he did, and I hope Florida goes for the death penalty, but I strongly suspect that there was more than one architect of the disaster that this kid’s mind became
Step parents are not the answer. They can help but the kid has to be a bit open minded too much for some.
So, birth Mom is trying to find out if kid is OK or hurt because he’s a student there, and comes out to find out that the kid not OK, but is in fact the perp?
It appears that all parties involved played a role in shaping the environment that produced a violent sociopath.
Should the state decline to pursue capital punishment, it would be entirely appropriate, and arguably necessary for federal prosecutors to intervene and bring charges under statutes that permit the death penalty.
Wow. That sure is a lot of information in a short amount of time. And not a single “alleged” or “apparent”. Yet, we can’t get a straight up story on Abrego Garcia.

Just so. In my legal career (I’m not insane. I don’t practice family law; just tangential contact) I don’t hear about the steps who are getting along great, because those never make it to court. What mystifies me is where you meet some body who is involved in one of these bitter disputes, and you jump right into the chaos by marrying them. No sane person should voluntarily opt in to such a situation
He was a leftist Trump hater. Expect this story to disappear. It does not fit the MSM narrative.
Apparently, "Phoenix" used his stepmother's service weapon. So much for "You don't need a gun because police will protect you."
