In the workplace, we're supposed to accept men dressed like girls and at schools, transvestites are allowed to interact with minor children... but no adults can behave like adults ??
When I was still working, my boss would say things like, “I like your necklace”... or “...That's a great color for you”. Was I supposed to run sniveling to HR?

I value working from home over working in an office. It's just easier to avoid interacting with people. Especially people who run around with a hair trigger to call HR. Thankfully, I haven't had to set foot on company premises since September 2017. I'm planning to retire soon, so perhaps I can finish with nothing more than shipping my laptop back to the office and signing off. My admin is retiring today with 35 years. She has been an outstanding co-worker and friend. Her exit means a replacement in her function.

Was I supposed to run sniveling to HR?I used to say, "That tight shirt really brings out your curves! Would you stand up for a second?", then I would whip out my cell phone like I was taking a picture.
They fired me, I'm not sure why. I was COMPLIMENTING her!

I had a woman at a utility company drive-up compliment my shirt when paying my bill a few months back...should I have bitched to the utility company? Perhaps taken them to small claims?
