From what I’ve heard, they’re not freaking out. The enemedia has found a few crazies out there and are blowing them out of proportion.
And have your Just add water Instawater tablets.
He and Boo-Boo have already moved to the Condo in Florida.🧸🐻
Woohoo!!
If it blew, how many years of food would one need to have stored?
my late old Cocker Zack wouldn’t be caught dead wearing that get up... He was so cool and aware-acting almost human!!
He was Blonde Buff. And what was unique with him was his hair. Mildly curly on the body but the top of his head was Towhead. almost white, blonde... he was bad ass and knew it!! Everywhere we went... on his 12x18” flat plywood handlebar mounted seat, to roller blading, to boating, every time we left the house he would run and grab his hairbrush! NO LIE!!! I’d brush him out(Always had a very sharp-full bell Bottom legs-short haired body cut) and His Towhead, at 8 years old, was ponytailed (2 rubber bands 3” apart) and in length was almost to his ass... That dog got me more girls for me than I could ever do on my own!! lmao!!
Well when I moved, and brought him to my new town’s dog groomer, THEY CUT OFF HIS PONY TAIL!!!!!!! I blew a gasket!! Like do you really think that ponytail was just an over growth since his last cut??? the wife apologized up and down for not telling them to not touch it but still!!
the morons should have known!!!!
Well, the trauma Zack experienced was similar to Samson and getting his ponytail cut off!! his self-esteem dropped out and he was an emotional wreck for months!! You should have seen the look on his face when I walked in the door that day and seen him sitting there looking up at me with that pouty lip!!! It never grew back to its maximum length, but enough for him to pass on proud!!~
Thats the story of my best dog ever!! I wish I had an image host to post the pics!!
No.
He’d be microcephalic.
I prefer dolichocephalic dogs but mesocephalic is okay, too.
🙂
Now I wanna watch Woody Harrelson get all happy over the caldera blowing.
😆

Personally I’m a 1 to 2 year prepper, but for people who have the means and the age, and/or the responsibilities calling for it, I would recommend 3 years as the minimum and for those for whom it makes sense, such as rich people with a survival retreat or shelter, I would want 10 years of goods, enough to ride out something that destroys agriculture and societal recovery for multiple years and seasons.
If the Yellowstone supervolcano were to erupt, it would happen like this: Heat rising from deep within the planet's core would begin to melt the molten rock just below the ground's surface. That would create a mixture of magma, rocks, vapor, carbon dioxide and other gases.
As the mix amassed and rose over thousands of years, the pressure eventually would push the ground up into a dome shape and create cracks along the edges. As that pressure was released through the cracks, the dissolved gases would explode, emptying the magma in quick fashion across the park [source: Achenbach].
The eruption would entail more than dangerous lava flows and could be expected to kill as many as 90,000 people immediately and spread a 10-foot (3-meter) layer of molten ash as far as 1,000 miles (1,609 kilometers) from the park.
Rescuers probably would have a tough time getting in there. The ash would block off all points of entry from the ground, and the spread of ash and gases into the atmosphere would stop most air travel, just as it did when a much smaller volcano erupted in Iceland in 2010 [source: Lemas].
Equally as frightening is the "nuclear winter" that some experts say could blanket the U.S. and other parts of the world if Yellowstone were to blow. Sulfuric gases released from the volcano would spring into the atmosphere and mix with the planet's water vapor.
The haze of gas that could drape the country wouldn't just dim the sunlight — it also would cool temperatures.
Falling temperatures would do a number on our food supply, decimating crops and throwing the food chain out of whack by leaving those at the bottom with little to eat. In fact, that's what many climate scientists believe happened in 535 C.E. after a supervolcano erupted in Java [sources: Browne, Weather Underground, Achenbach].
First off, are You going to be in the survival zone ? If so then I would hazard a guess of 3-5 years. I don’t have time to continue to search for any more details. So that’s going to be on You.
Most of the articles I found indicate that the result wouldn’t be as disastrous as it’s often made out to be.
(I’m far away on the East Coast.)
