That’s no ordinary rabbit!

Indeed.

Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound.

Look up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Superbunny!

I recall flying into Beef Island airport next to Tortolla, BVIs and the pilot buzzed the runway to make sure there were no goats on the tarmac.

Of course, there were chickens(Caribbean Lobster)running around in and outside the terminal.

She had 42 rabbits last year. This was suicide.

You all laugh, but how many of you have tried to clip a rabbit's toenails? They get vicious. (Admittedly, I cut too far back and drew blood...)

That rabbit must’a been FLYIN’ to get high enough to be sucked into the intake. Had to be a Jackrabbit, not a cottontail bunny!

The only things I can possibly conceive:

1. The rabbit hopped up into the air intake of the engine before taking off. But how would they have gotten off the ground? It would have been sucked in and the damage done when they first spun up the engines.

2. A bald eagle snagged a rabbit and carried it skyward, only to drop it in the path of the jetliner shortly after taking off. This would be a one-in-a-trillion event but I suppose it's conceivable.

3rd option is that someone misspoke and this is just a birdstrike. But that's not nearly as much fun...
