I’m sure there’s a lot of positive fluff written about Americorps, as there was for communism. Good riddance to both.

I remember a letter to the editor published in the Wall St. Journal. The author went into the Peace Corps. Some of his friends went to work at GM and they did very well. He came back from the Peace Corps and thought he should be compensated at their level.

It seems like everyone on the left has too high an opinion of themselves and their ideology. Thomas Sowell refers to “the vision of the Annointed.” Perhaps if these people worked a real job, some would come to like and respect average Americans.
