One small step for a woman....
A man sent them up there.
A truthful headline would read -
“Six women transported as useless cargo really high then returned safely, nothing of note occurring during the transit”
I for one didn’t need this display to know those 3 “celebrities” are space cadets.
Lauren Sanchez made history as the first gold digger to suck her way into space.
After seeing so many explosions, I’d agree with Woods on this. I don’t know if I would do it if offered the opportunity. Murphy hasnt always been in my favor...
Low Earth orbit is NOT “space”.
Over the top in so many respects, and void of meaning. The (for now) ultimate ‘You Go Girl!’ moment. Not sure what it says about the passengers. I can’t imagine they were much more than that. I do know that I’d not have done it. Flight is serious business, especially of this sort. One can only imagine the hysterical chaos on board had something gone wrong.
They accomplished nothing besides taking up space.
That cover looks like they sent a coven of vampires into space.
Woods would be right, if they knew the risks. Have them sit through 10 minutes of video of Apollo 1, the Challenger, Columbia and a few rockets exploding. Then see how many takers you get.
“She took that ride knowing her young daughter would be watching her, knowing something could go wrong, and her daughter would see her blow up into a million tiny pieces.
And she did it anyway.”
Disaster never crossed her mind.
They want my respect? Form a Militant Maga Mom's March and really make headlines.
They were as much of the “crew” of that craft as I was part of the crew on my last Delta airplane flight.
Why wasn’t there the same kind of hype for Elon saving the stranded astronauts earlier this month?? (Rhetorical question)
After the 11-minute trip, most lamented not being fully satisfied...
I thought these flights only go to Earths upper atmosphere, not space.
So when is the first all black crew going up?
I wonder what the headlines would read if Musk had done it instead.
The women who have served for extended periods of time on the International Space Station are worthy of recognition. These babes took a ten minute ride requiring no skill or participation in the operation of the rocket. All they were required to do was sit in the capsule. You could hear them all screaming on the way down.
