One of my favorite parts if the show was the bad and weird singers. Thing are gone as is the odd charm of the show.

Haven't seen any of American Idol on broadcast/cable/scheduled-streaming television. And I don't miss it. I do catch some of the YouTube videos, but mostly the initial auditions. I also catch the YouTube videos of The Voice, the various got-talents, and X factor.

The absolute favorite was Spain's Got Talent, when a soprano opera singer cut loose with "Highway from Hell'.

We have it on right now.i never watch, but my wife loves it. Personally, I can’t stand it. I’m here on FR or playing 3D Mahjong on my tablet. Or counting the cat’s whiskers.

Dont get me dtarted...in winter we try and watch things we have heard are good. Made it thru “1923”...but it was ao unrealistic. Made it thru Landman...mostly ok except language and a calamity at every oil site. Tried Lioness...they whusper so much, but will go back. Currently yrying to get thru 1883”...it is a slog. No, have not watched Yellowstone yet...maybe???

The judges are just personalities and cheerleaders now. They rarely offer an criticism, constructive or otherwise. That is biggest downfall of the show.
