The write up says that hole is 100 meters across. why does it look like maybe an inch!?? the melted areas of snow and a smooth opening to resemble water and sand erosion? In the depth of the hole the smoothness is only on the upper crust.
The consistency of the soil in the melted areas would match my guesstimate of the hole being only an inch. something is wrong with this picture.

If indeed that is 100 meters... 300ft, then what took the picture?? I do not believe Igenuity can fly that high!!??

There is a Mars orbiter which can take detailed pictures of the surface. Above are some photos it took of the Spiders from Mars.
