The cast of The Breakfast Club is back together — 40 years after that fateful detention day.
Molly Ringwald, Ally Sheedy, Judd Nelson, Anthony Michael Hall and Emilio Estevez reunited on April 12 during a panel at C2E2, a pop culture convention in Chicago, to reminisce with fans over John Hughes's 1985 coming-of-age film. The panel was moderated by Josh Horowitz.
"I feel very emotional and moved to have us all together," said Ringwald, who played the film's iconic high school "princess" Claire Standish.

Sadly Molly Ringwald turned into a complete loser. |
So did she squeeze out a few puppies after all?
It is however disconcerting that I now identify with the character of Richard Vernon as opposed to that geeky kid Brian Johnson.
I’m glad you like Top Secret, I can’t watch that one anymore. :)
They couldn’t make a remake. There would have to be a gay, a black, a Hispanic, an Asian and there couldn’t be any common ground because everyone would be a victim focusing on their identity, be it by race, sex, or sexual preference. The white guy, if there were one and did it honestly, would focus on the assignment and saying leave me alone.
Uglier today then they were then.
I never cared for Molly Ringworm. And I don’t think her career was very long.
Ha ha, I don’t blame you; it is pretty silly. (I, however, have the same unrefined taste in movies as I had back as a kid in the 80s, lol.)
I think that’s photoshopped.
We tried to watch it again, we just couldn’t get through it. We did in high school/college. Not now.
C’mon, man. It had its moments. “Don’t You Forget About Me.”
Yes, I didn’t recognize him. At all. (Anthony Michael Hall).
Went from a geeky wisp of a boy to a mature “Father” (his character in Reacher).
He looks like leading man material now. Albeit for a grandfather type role.
Young Guns.
“Only a filthy skank liberal would think that.”
Agree.
He’s not Charlie. Aparrently he’s retired to his ranch out west. Probably still cashing in.
On the Young guns movies.
Forty years is a long time between breakfasts !
It did suck, I cannot stand that ringworm skank.
Fugly, neve could understand why hollyweird liked her. Must be someone’s daughter.
That is a good line! I think my favorite is “Why does Andrew get to get up? If he gets up, we’ll all get up. It’ll be anarchy!” The hyperbole always cracks me up.
