They did for the Polio shot 70 years ago...

IIRC it wasn't a shot, it was a teeny cup with pink liquid and each student was given a teeny cup to drink, it averaged out to just a sip.

Thats not the issue. Its forced medication that is the issue.

Despite the fact that I worked with people with violent mental health issues that could be a danger to themselves or others, I could not do anything to “make” a person take medication. It is their “right” to refuse.

That is to say that a person that has already been judged by the courts to not be competent to make their own decisions is allowed to make the decision weather medication would be helpful but a child with competent parents cannot make the same decision.

It was both. I just happen to remember that the first polio vaccine was a shot, the Salk vaccine. Then the Sabin vaccine came along which was a drop of liquid on a sugar cube when I took that one.
