China says JD Vance's comments about 'peasants' are 'words that lack knowledge and respect'

China is pushing back Tuesday after Vice President JD Vance told Fox News last week that the U.S. borrows "money from Chinese peasants to buy the things those Chinese peasants manufacture." Vance, during an interview with "Fox & Friends," made the remark while speaking about the effects of the Trump administration’s tariffs. "I think it's useful for all of us to step back and ask us, ask ourselves, what is the globalist economy gotten the United States of America? And the answer is fundamentally, it's based on two principles -- incurring a huge amount of debt to buy things that other countries make for us, and to make it a little bit more crystal clear, we borrow money from Chinese peasants to buy the things those Chinese peasants manufacture," Vance said. When asked about Vance’s comments on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian said, "To hear words that lack knowledge and respect like those uttered by this Vice President is both surprising and kind of lamentable. "China has made its position perfectly clear on its trade relations with the U.S.," he added. The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital. China’s criticism of Vance on Tuesday comes as the U.S. and China are involved in an escalating dispute over tariffs.

He is not insulting the Chinese. Vance is insulting the globalist elite sellouts who created this system where manufacturing was shipped to China to exploit peasants to make cheap crap for Americans paid for by borrowing from the CHinese earnings on the cheap labor of the Chinese peasants all while profiting the globalist financial elite who sold us down the river.

Clinton ruined the US furniture industry with his trade policy.

“Peasants” is considerably more kind than to come out and say “Chinese slave labor”

China has skilled machinists, probably more than the US has.

We shouldn’t be importing:
1. stuff that can be made and packaged by automated equipment
[we should only be importing high comparative advantage products]
2. ferrous products for motor vehicles
[we export few cars - tariffs on automobile grade steel won’t hurt US automakers]
3. aluminum alloys for aircraft
[we need the absolute ability to build warplanes]
4. inputs to make plastic products
[this stuff is made at industrial scale]
5. life-saving drugs and their precursors
[so our sick people can’t be held hostage by anti-American governments]

I knew a guy in the early 2000s who was buying up manufacturing tools in NC and shipping them to China. He had been doing it since the mid 1990s, since the Clinton era.

The Chinese manufacturing industry has tremendous price pressures.

Automated equipment has been introduced at great scale.

Ours are better. Chinese metallurgy is behind ours. We can make things to much tighter tolerances than they can. I'm close to people in some of those industries, and that's the consistent report I get.

The big Chinese money is used by affluent Chinese to buy stocks such as Apple and real property in Canada, the UK, and the USA and by the Chinese government and businesses to buy up Third World assets.

The money peasant girls make in factories is used to support their families.

“slave labor”

The Chinese constitution requires people of working age to work if they can.

“From each according to his ability...”

All true.

However, the Chinese metal and machinists are good enough for consumer products.

The Chinese have learned how to make good rubber.

I won’t say what they don’t make well.

He shouldn't have said that. He should have said, "...we borrow money from Chinese elites to buy the things their Chinese peasants manufacture,"

Time for worse insults to be leveled at China—The Virus makers who would be our masters. They thought the world was theirs because some greedy, sell out Yankees gave in to them. I bet they have a stable of political types from both parties ready to try and stop Trump—soon. If they don’t work—there is always an assassination (They can blame Iran) to take out “The Man.” They should talk to the Japanese about when they took out our Pacific Fleet in one attack—that didn’t end well for them.
