To: Red Badger

Having worked at the world’s largest observatory (Kecks) for ten years, I find articles like this insulting.
All we are looking at is ancient history!
All we are doing is looking at things that most likely don’t exist any more.
I like looking at the stars at night, but I know that the closest starlight took 4 years to get to my eyes.

That is why a Time Machine will never be practical.

Everything in the Universe is in motion. Even us sitting here in front of our computer screens are moving at thousands of miles an hour.

The Earth, the Sun, the Galaxy are all moving.

If a Time Machine was actually a reality, the first time it was used you would probably die within the first few seconds, because you would wind up in intergalactic space and no way to get back.................
