Volkswagen is going to let its customers know just how much President Donald Trump's tariffs will cost Americans.
The German automotive manufacturing giant is reportedly adding a new line item to its vehicle stickers.
Volkswagen will print an 'import fee' on each new car's buying label. Customers will see the exact cost next to the vehicle's added features prices, fuel efficiency estimations, and crash test ratings.
The official sticker — required by law for pricing transparency and found on every new vehicle — will clearly spelling out just how much of the price hike is a direct result of Trump’s tariffs.

Ford sells almost twice as many F Series Trucks than all of VW sales. I will never own a VW. They are junk and horrible to work on.
I drive one and actually like it. but its a 2003 I paid 150 dollars for.
best TDI I’ve owned. “only” 315,000 miles on it.
my last one had 600,000.. I am to cheap to do the timing belts so as long as I have a second one, I just drive um till the belt snaps and crush them.
Thats what killed the 600K one.
In my youth, I thought it ironic that within 20 years of the end of the war, a megalomaniac's, "people's car," had become so overwhelmingly popular with the,"peace and love," flower children.
As I've grown older, it makes perfect sense. They were really on the same team all along.
That's why the old Corollas are so tough: steel timing belt, and non-interference engine.
Lackawanna is a problem too
This one has its done at 280k Itll last to 600
That is to show people the reason they will never want to purchase any more Volkswagens. That is not sneaky at all. Volkswagen jumped the shark when they discontinued the Type 1 Beetle and the Super Beetle, to pass-off the weird thing they call the A5 Beetle.
Volkswagon makes some of the worst junk in the industry. Only fools would buy it.
I know the new one has four headlights that are bright as the sun..
I always give them the high beams.
Repair bills for Volkswagen are at the top of the list. This once reliable company has become the Jaguar of German cars.
Keep digging, Europe, keep digging...
Note to the DM: Is this the best you’ve got??
More like the Lada...
I noted that Jaguar is so bad it isn’t even on the list
Volkswagen is good at being sneaky, as shown in their little diesel conspiracy not so very long ago, plus their cars/engines just aren’t that good.
No problem beat the import fee buy American.
I love my Genesis, and would gladly pay the tariff, OTOH, Volkswagon is a POS company with POS products...
